Fife Society for the Blind - About Us

Who Are We?

Fife Society for the Blind is a Company Limited by Guarantee and a Charity. We offer specialised services to help visually impaired people achieve and maintain their independence.

We supply some services on behalf of large organisations such as Fife Council or NHS Fife, but also help support local social groups and offer many other services ourselves through our Volunteer Service and directly from our charitable income. This charitable income comes from a number of sources including legacies, street and event collections, collecting bottles and cans, and our 200 Club Lottery.

If you wish to find out more about our charitable funding, or to join the 200 Club draw, please click here.

We are governed by a Board of Directors and visually impaired people throughout Fife are represented through the Fife Forum of the Visually Impaired and local Social Groups.

Anyone who supports the objectives of the Society is free to become a member which will entitle you to attend and vote at general meetings of the organisation. Please note that we offer our services regardless of whether or not you are a member.
